Marina Puricelli is a professor in the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University where she teaches Organizational Theory. She has won the Bocconi Teaching Award every year since 2005. Her research focuses on the Italian small and medium enterprises (SME) that represent an economic model in which she passionately trusts. At Bocconi Business School she coordinates training projects, research, and custom programs for entrepreneurs and for Italian business associations. She was a visiting Professor at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Chile), and a visiting Ph.D. student at the London Business School. She also took part in a doctoral studies workshop at the University of Minnesota. She is the author of numerous books and articles on Italian SMEs. She is also a management consultant for organizational check-ups in family-owned companies, growing businesses, and succession planning.
Marina earned a Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in 1992 and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Bologna in 2000. She is married with two children and she balances her working life with happy moments with family and friends.
