Application Process and Admission
Where and when can I apply?
You can apply here. Applications open on October 10th and close on November 15th 2017.
When is the application deadline?
There are two application deadlines: the early application deadline is on October 31st 2017, the regular application deadline is on November 15th 2017.
How does the admission process work?
Our admission team will review all the applications received on an ongoing basis and then schedule a video interview with a selection of candidates. The final admission decision is taken after the interview.
When will I be notified the admission?
Within 15 days of applying, selected applicants will be contacted for a 15-minute video interview. Within 10 days from the interview, applicants receive an email with the application result.
Is there a deadline for me to accept the admission?
Yes, the deadline to accept the admission is one week after the admission notification.
Program Cost and Scholarships
How much does the Program cost?
The cost of the program is 2.500 Euros. Please note that the program cost does not include accommodation, meals and the roundtrip to Italy.
Are there scholarships available?
Yes, we provide tuition scholarships up to 1.500 Euros per person and we have a scholarship fund of 30.000 Euros for the winter program.

When is the scholarship application deadline?
The deadline to apply for a scholarship is November 15th 2017.
What is the deadline to pay the accommodation and tuition fee?
The payment deadline is two weeks after admission notification.
You will receive the instruction for the payment and the payment deadlines together with the admission notification.
How many people are selected for the program?
The winter class will be composed of up to 30 participants.
What is the background of participants?
We believe diversity of perspectives and approaches can contribute to creating outstanding creative projects. For this reason, we involve both undergraduate and graduate students with a diverse set of backgrounds like business, design, engineering, computer science, social sciences.
Is there any material I should read before the program starts?
Yes, before the program starts you should go through the company dossiers and selected readings provided by Italia Innovation.
Where will I find this material?
Participants will be given access to the material once they confirm their participation to the program.
What kind of businesses will be involved?
Companies that partner with Italia Innovation are leading brands in the Made in Italy business sectors: Fashion, Food and Wine, Industrial Design, High-End Manufacturing, Arts and Culture.

Can I apply for an internship after the program?
Some of the companies may have internship opportunities but interested candidates would need to discuss those directly with the HR team of the Italian company. The terms (period, duration, location, compensation) will be decided by the company according to their specific needs.
Where does the Program take place?
The main headquarter for the program activities is the Italia Innovation design & education studio in the heart of Verona.
There will be several company visits in the first week so be ready to travel, Italy is our campus!
Is accommodation included in the program fee?
No, all participants should book their own accommodation in downtown Verona.
Are meals are covered in the program fee?
Except for days of company visits, all participants are responsible for their own meals.
Is local transportation included in the program fee?
Only transportation for the company visits in the days of the program activities is included.
Do I need a Visa to participate?
It depends on your nationality and your country of residence.

How do I get to Verona?
By plane: Verona has its own airport (Valerio Catullo Airport) and you can get there with 1 or 2 stops International Flights or Direct Continental Flights. The airport is approximately 10 kilometres southwest of the city centre. A shuttle bus service runs between the airport and Verona Porta Nuova railway station. You can also choose to fly to Venice (Venezia Marco Polo Airport) or Milan (Milano Linate or Milano Malpensa) and from there take a bus to the closest railway station (Venezia Mestre or Milano Centrale), both 1 hour train ride from Verona, with an hourly train service.
By train: Verona Porta Nuova is the main railway station, at the junction of the Milan–Venice and Brenner–Rome railway lines. It is very well connected to all north and central Italy, and the railway station is 10 minutes on foot from the city center.
